Lab#18 was about creating a mask in Adobe Flash. First, I imported the image to stage. Then, I created the layer called "mask" and used the oval tool to define the area of the mask layer that I want to be transparent. Next, I turned the "mask" layer to Mask. After turning it to Mask, I inserted a frame at frame 20 in both layers and classic tween in the mask layer. Then, I move the shape that I created by using the oval tool. By completing all the steps, part of the image is shown as the oval moves.
I learned how to make masks and used them in Flash. This is lab was not too difficult to complete since I had to follow instruction from the handout. In the future, I can use the techniques for this lab when I need to use masks in Adobe Flash.
